Newport will travel to premiership rivals Pontypridd to play a pre season friendly on Saturday 10th August with a 2.30 kick off.
Both teams will be gearing up for the new season and this match will give both sets of coaches and supporters an opportunity to run their eye over the newly assembled squads. Head Coach Ty Morris wants to ensure that our warm up games are challenging and this will be a great chance for two quality teams to go through their paces.
Our matches at Sardis Road are invariably high scoring and free flowing, and so without the pressure of league points it promises to be a superb summer afternoon of running rugby.
