The second Newport RFC hooker to hang up his boots at the end of the season is Matt Dwyer. Newport born Matt has played rugby at all levels of the game including as a full time professional but fulfilled a lifetime ambition by playing for his home town club.
His experience has been a great asset to the club in recent seasons as well as his infectious enthusiasm and ability to keep everyone on their toes and entertained!
We wish Matt well and look forward to seeing him on the side lines at our future games.
