Newport RFC are looking to recruit volunteer stewards to help out on match days at Newport Stadium and Rodney Parade.
We already have 5 trained volunteers but need at least double that number to be self sufficient.
Would you be interested in getting trained and helping us out? The club arranges and pays for the training. There would be potential for you to earn some money once qualified at other events in the locality but its at Newport games where we really need the volunteer help.
At a rough guess we have 35 volunteers working at each home match covering not just stewarding but selling tickets, checking tickets, selling match programmes, match announcing, social media, match reports, ball team, selling merchandise, working in the kiosk, looking after hospitality and guests etc etc but its stewarding where we definitely need extra help to cover the roles and save the club some money.
