At last, we have a game at Newport Stadium. The last time we played there was 3rd December when we achieved a 32 – 15 victory over Llanelli in the Premier Challenge Cup. Swansea, our opponents on Saturday, are one place below us in the league and they will be keen to get the double over the Black & Ambers following their remarkable comeback at St Helens when we looked to have a certain win. It will be the All-Whites first visit to our new home and we will give a warm welcome to one of our oldest rivals and one of our oldest friends.
Newport need to get back to winning ways following two away losses to Bridgend and RGC. We picked up more injuries in North Wales but we are boosted by the return of captain, Matt O’Brien, and Elliot Frewen.
