Third placed Newport face RGC on Saturday and this is a good opportunity to close the gap on second placed Ebbw Vale. The Black & Ambers are in fine form with a run of five bonus point wins behind them but cannot afford to be complacent against a dangerous RGC team.
The North Walians are not having a good season by their standards with only four wins from their 13 games but have not been helped by an interrupted fixture list. They will be boosted by remembering that they have won their last two games at Newport Stadium.
The coaches make changes again with Henry Palmer and Josh Reid coming in to the starting pack and five changes in the backs with only Matt O’Brien and Ioan Davies keeping their places. The bench looks very strong and is full of impact players.
