NEWPORT v CARMARTHEN

At last we have a game of rugby.  It’s been a long time since that big victory over RGC, 5 weeks to be exact.  Carmarthen had a good win at Bridgend last week and now have a record of won 4 and lost 4.  Two of those victories were against Cardiff and Pontypool so the Black & Ambers will need to be on top form to get the win over a strong Carmarthen outfit.

The coaches make a few changes owing to injury and unavailability with Carwyn Penny starting at outside half, Liam Lloyd taking one wing position and Ollie Andrew, making a very welcome return from injury, taking the other. Cai Evans starts at fullback.

Newport:  Tom Workman, Henry Palmer, Garin Harris, Josh Skinner, Barny Langton-cryer, Rhys Jenkins, Kyle Tayler, Ben Roach Captain, Dafydd Buckland, Carwyn Penny, Liam Lloyd, Chay Smith, Jon Morris, Ollie Andrew, Cai Evans.
