Newport Look For Victory on The Road

The Black & Ambers were disappointed with their performance against Ebbw Vale when indiscipline and some bad decision-making cost them the game.  The visitors were aggressive at the breakdown and strong in defence, but Newport will feel it was a game that they should have won.

We now face the long journey to North Wales to face RGC.  Last season they were victorious twice at Newport Stadium, but we took the spoils at Parc Eiras.  They are a very good side, well coached by Ceri Jones and are sure to be a stern test.  Like us, they lost last time out and, like us, will be keen to get the win.

The coaching team make multiple changes to the starting fifteen with Garin Harris, Chay Smith, Kyle Tayler, Cameron Lewis and Geraint O’Driscoll coming straight in and Henry Palmer, Craig Hudd, Ben Moa and Daf Buckland moving up from the replacements.

Newport: Thomas Davies, Henry Palmer, Garin Harris, Craig Hudd, Josh Skinner, Ben Roach, Kyle Tayler, Ben Moa, Dafydd Buckland, Matt O’Brien, Dafydd Smith, Cameron Lewis, Chay Smith, Jon Morris, Geraint O’Driscoll.
