When Matt kicked that penalty at the end of the win against Pontypridd on Friday it took him to 1036 career points for Newport RFC and in the process overtaking Shane Howarth in the list.
Matt has two ahead of him now. Paul Turner on 1145 and much further out Dan Griffiths at 1551.
This is a fantastic achievement for ‘OB’ and it will be interesting to see if he can catch Paul by the end of the current season.
