Newport travel to Carmarthen on Saturday intent on continuing the good form that has seen them gain wins in their last two games.  They showed in the big win over Swansea in the Cup that they had recaptured the form they had shown in season 2021-22.  Following that up with a hard fought victory at Rodney Parade over league leaders, Swansea, confirmed that they are back on track.

Carmarthen are not having the best of seasons with just the one win over neighbours Llanelli so far but games against them are always tough and they will be keen to get the win.

Newport make changes because of injuries and the need to reward players performing well in training.
