Newport came through an extremely hard game against RGC at the home of Bedwas with very few injury concerns. This is surprising considering the dreadful conditions and the way the game was played, with both sides tearing into each other with no quarter given. Once again, our thanks to Bedwas for hosting this game with little notice. The win moves us up one place and into the top half of the table.
The game against Cardiff on Saturday will be hugely different, played on a plastic surface on a big wide pitch. The Blue and Blacks are in incredibly good form, only losing one league game this season. The Black & Ambers will need to adapt quickly if they are to overcome the challenge from our oldest rivals.
Just two changes, both up front with Henry Palmer and Nathan Evans coming into the front row.
