Two of our ball boys who attend every game to assist Newport RFC have been honoured with a presentation by Brian and Jacqueline Jones.
Evan Evans and Will Taylor are on the touchlines at every single game whatever the weather and whether it is at home or away with a smile on their faces helping their heroes in Black & Amber. The lads having been performing this duty for a good number of seasons now and thoroughly enjoy their time with the squad.
Club ambassador Brian ‘BJ’ Jones came up with the idea to recognise the young lads contributions and introduced the supporters in the Bisley Suite to Evan and Will after the Merthyr game. Jacqueline presented them with rugby books that had been signed by all of the squad.
Who knows, we may see Evan and Will representing our club in years to come. Thanks for your efforts guys!
