Newport born Matt attended UWIC. Signed from in September 2013.
A very established member of the squad blessed with a wide range of skills that he displays in the No. 10 jersey and sometimes at No.12. Has made 150+ appearances and scored 1000+ points to be the current highest points scorer in the squad. Appointed captain for 2021/22 & 2022/23. Lifted the cup at the Principality Stadium in 2022. Second in the club all time record points scorers.
Started his managerial career as Dragons Academy Coach, has also coached Wales U18's and U20's and now also coaches the Dragons 1st XV Backs.
