A flying winger who excelled at the top level with Pontypridd for years, Gareth later moved to play for The Dragons and then Newport, where he had an excellent season scoring 10 tries in his 34 appearances.
A full welsh cap as well as many appearances throughout the age range teams and also for Wales 7's.
After coaching at Pontypridd and with Wales U 18's, Gareth joined Newport in 2024/25 with responsibility for attack.
