Jamie Jeune returns to Rodney Parade and Newport RFC for the new season making the short trip from Pontypool. Jamie has previously played for Newport in 2012/13 and 2013/14 appearing 31 times.
Primarily a prop but also versatile at hooker the established and experience Jeune has played over 250 times for Pontypool but heads back to Newport RFC for a second stint.
Ty Morris was delighted to bring Jamie back to Newport. ‘Jamie will add valuable experience to our squad. He has an exceptional skill set for a front row forward that will fit perfectly with the way we play our rugby. I’m sure he will lead from the front to drive our standards both on and off the field.’
